Write-Up Springfield Co-founder Kateri Walsh and her co-facilitator Don Fisher discuss with Author Angela Grout the benefits which a public writers group offers. The group just celebrated 5 years and is open to all writers. Many writers groups begin at your local library, community center, or colleges. Joining a group provides companionship as well as wisdom to enhance your writing skills and projects.
Write-Up Springfield meets the second Saturday every month from 12:30-2:30 providing prompts, and a place for you to produce work to share or keep private. Kateri, Don, and Angela share their experience with the group as well as the benefits of receiving feedback from their writings. From writing in the rafters, to presenting at an open mic, there are many avenues which writing groups can guide a new writer as well as an advanced. All levels of writing and all genres are invited.
